Schedule of Services

Above all else, GSPC exists for the reverent worship of God Almighty and Jesus, the Christ, our Savior.

We are now observing our summer schedule with one worship service at 10:15 a.m.

There are two Sunday worship services, each with a different format and emphasis.  The times are as detailed below.
  • The "Quiet Service" Worship   8:00 am
  • Sunday School (K-Adults)         9:00 am
  • Traditional Worship Service   10:15 am
  • Fellowship Time                Following the worship service

What has become known as "the quiet service" de-emphasizes the music content of the service for a more contemplative service focused on the preaching of the Word and the opportunity to take the sacrament of Communion each week.

The traditional service normally includes one or more of our choirs with additional music.  Those musical groups could include bells, adult or children's choirs and more contemporary praise-style music with our band.

During the summer season, roughly corresponding to the public school schedule, we give our Sunday School teachers a well-deserved break, while continuing the regular worship service schedule.  However, other members sometimes organize short-term special class offerings, such as a movie discussion class that has proven popular.

Communion is normally served on the first Sunday of each month.  As noted above, Communion is served every Sunday during the early worship service.  A time of sharing joys and concerns for prayer is a part of each service.

Children are a vital part of the life of GSPC and are always welcome in the service.  A brief children's time is included during the service (except on Communion Sundays).

Following children's time, a separate Children's Church (grades K-2) is conducted with worship material and activities suited to that age group.

A nursery is available during the 10:15 am service for those age 4 and under.

If you have any questions regarding our worship service, please call the church office, and we'll be glad to address your questions.
